21 stories, 21 lives, a story through Zhang's Point of View. It's also 21 stories that somehow we will hear it from anyone around us or maybe on ourselves, not the exact experience but the feelings that we will go through; defeated, tired of life, hopeless, finding hope etc. There's a lot of inspiring words that Zhang's include in the story. As a fangirl myself, I found the 11th story a comfort. Having an idol at a age where people think I should focus on life make people have second opinion about me, but in the story he highlighted his friend, have different idols at different point of time and each idol manage to bring the better version of herself and I hope it will be the same to me.
I found comfort and heals myself through his words, and I hope other people who read this would feel the same. I want to finish this review with my favorite quote from the book, "Time really know how to lie but it let you understand, in this world, there is nothing to lose. Cherish those that stay, those that can't be achieved is not important."
