I clearly remember one feature of this little book (which was a free giveaway I picked up somewhere), which is the idea of writing out the Bible in your own handwriting. I didn't take up the habit, nor do I really have an opinion on it one way or the other, but at least the idea has stuck with me, whereas the contents of many larger books have faded completely from my memory...
