I enjoyed listening to this book. It’s short, funny, steamy and even spantastic. Kendall and Dr. Malcom are made for each other. Besides with those magical hands who would really want to leave. I must say that the communication between the two are as straightforward and honest as can be. As for the narrator was truly awesome. As he read the tone he took for each character was different, which made the story more enjoyable.

Her Stern Doctor is a surprisingly character-driven BDSM short story, which packs a lot of action and emotion into its two and a half hours.
Dr Malcolm is a gloriously Dominant, powerful hero, whose confident sternness complements Kendra's softness and insecurity well. Whilst it becomes obvious that he is an experienced Dom, their first night together proves to be revelatory for her, as she begons to discover how much she enjoys submitting to Doctor's orders.
Derek's seniority within the practice forms the basis of their Daddy Dom/Little Girl relationship, and could be considered as a good introduction to the genre because the listener is gradually introduced to the scene alongside Kendra.
Some of the submissive aspects didn't appeal to me on a personal level, in particular the medical procedure early on, but the attraction between the couple built steadily and was sustained throughout. Their interactions were certainly steamy and full of enthusiasm, though I would have very much enjoyed having more insight into Derek's POV during their more intimate moments.
It was heartening to see limits and consent addressed directly by the characters, though a little late in the story, and nice to see subdrop touched-upon too. Throughout Kendra's 'training' Derek's tender ministrations ensured that it wasn't just his patients who received the best aftercare. Considering the constraints of the brief format, I was really surprised to find their relationship, and its limits, explored in such depth.
On an emotional level, I did find it a bit cheesy in places and wasn't certain that it required such a conventional HEA. I'm not sure that juxtaposing the fetishistic elements with such traditional romance really felt like it worked for me, but I can imagine that being a specific draw for others. The parallels with Malcolm Sr were a fun addition to the main narrative and lent Derek's assertiveness some context.
I also laughed aloud when Dr Malcolm mused that he "had every intention of slaying all [Kendra's] dragons from now on. Even slow-eyed dragons like Serena."
The narrator, Jack Calihan, has a rich and deep voice, and was very well suited to this kind of story. Despite the bulk of it being from Kendra's perspective I was glad the author chose a male narrator. It helped to bring Dr Malcom's character to life and emphasise his dominance over every aspect of the matter in hand. Though in many ways it is Kendra's story, it was apt that Derek's voice be the one which comes to define the story.
Irrespective of the subject matter, I would go so far as to say that Calihan purring "Good girl" is almost worth the credit alone. If I had it as some form of phone notification whenever I ticked something off my To-Do list, I'm certain I'd accomplish far more of my daily tasks!
Much as I enjoyed the seductiveness of Calihan's performance, his unusual pronunciation of a certain pleasure-specific organ made me laugh in a way that would have been impossible to explain had I been overheard, because it sounded more like a dinosaur than a body part.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who is intrigued by the genre and willing to remain open to a relationship containing a significant power exchange. Anyone who likes their erotic fiction to be sweet and saucy is likely to enjoy this one.

“Her Stern Doctor” is one steamy and enjoyable story. Morganna Williams has a way with words, her storylines and characters are interesting and entertaining. Derek Malcom is hot Doctor and alpha Dom. He always felt something for one of his nurses, Kendra Jacoby, and knew she felt the same attraction to him but refused to act on it. After seeing her misbehave he decided to take things in to his own hands, he took her into his office and spanked her. Surprising her she took the spanking and found that it excited her. Being snowed in the good Doctor takes advantage and shows Kendra how a good submissive should behave and introduces her to a lot of hot kink. They spend their two days together, he tells her of his feelings and they make future plans. Then he gets called away because his Mom had a heart attack, he is unable to meet Kendra as planned and not having her phone number he calls the office to have a message relayed to her. Thanks to office politics and bullcrap that message was not relayed to her, she is told something else and feels she was played. No worries, Dr Malcom gets to to the bottom of things, I love how he handled his office staff after he found out what happened. Also love that he and Kendra get their HEA! This is a fast paced story, with drama, twists, romance and some hot & kinky scenes. Morganna Williams thank you for the great story!

This was a short and steamy book that starts with a bang! Her Stern Doctor is filled with drama, jealousy, and many steamy scenes. Kendra is a sassy nurse that catches the doctor’s eye and finally decides he’s had enough. Derek and Kendra have instant chemistry and I loved his protectiveness for her. I also thought it was great that it ended with a HEA!
Jack did a good job narrating this book. He read at a steady pace and brought Derek’s character to life.

Morgana Williams always delivers hot, steamy stories. This one does not disappoint. I was worried because it was a doctor, but there was not too much done with medical equipment. I enjoyed the build of the relationship between Kendra and Dr Malcolm. Kendra is sassy. Dr Malcolm knows exactly what will keep her in line. This is a fun listen.
Jack Calihan narration brings this story to life. He narrates Dr Malcolm and Kendra as I imagined they would be. It felt more like I was right there in the story as a silent observer. I enjoyed listening to this narration.

This is a short hot read, that I had the pleasure of listening to in the audible version of this book. The narrator brought it all to life, especially the doctor's part!! Nurse Kendra takes the brat persona to the max and learns to revel in the new D/s relationship. Office politics and an emergency with Derek's family threaten to tear the new couple apart. I love how doc handled the office situation! Lol. The ending with Derek's family at Christmas time was special!

I listened to the audio book.
This was a short sexy hot D/s story. Loved the narration and the author did an excellent job on the storyline and the characters. This was an office romance between a doctor and a nurse. The chemistry between these two are instant and when they get together it's explosive. Kept me entertained from beginning to end.

This book is so damn hot. It’s straight to the good stuff, no messing around. Great chemistry between the characters. Definitely recommend that you listen in private and with headphones. Jack has a lovely domineering voice. Great job.

This was a quick listen. It’s a domestic discipline one, and, although it leaves consent out in the way it’s written, we gets both viewpoints.
I like the way it ends and that we see where his dominant nature comes from.
Jack Calihan doe extremely well with the different characters and makes them completely discernible throughout the entire story.

Excellent Read
This book was just long enough to get straight to the point while having the reader excited and wanting more. The conclusion was just as good as the beginning. Really loved it.

Lots of Spanking!
At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to give this book 5 stars as I have other of her books. However, close to the end there was a plot twist that won my heart. Great job!
