I love that so many different species are on each page. We have leaned so much about wildlife from this book. The book follows along a hermit crab as he searches for a new shell.

Cute story of a hermit crabs journey on Sanoa Island. Love the pull out glossary with illustrations of animals that inhabit the island. I loved seeing the beautiful illustrations of Sanoa Island (which I hadn't heard about before reading this book). A lovely book for the animal lovers in your classroom.

This book came with a puppet of a hermit crab to help tell the story. Fun book to teach about life under the sea and how a hermit crab lives. The puppet is my favorite part!
