This book depicts kabirdasji as god. He is performs magic and brings the dead alive. One of the worst book ever written about him. He was a great poet and lived all his life trying to make this world a better place to live. This book depicts him as god. If you want to know about him do a wiki search which would be much better than this book.
I gave one star because kabirdasji 's sayings are as good as always. The author has done a worst job.
If you want to read a good book about Kabir then buy the one which is translated by tagore that is far better.
Legends about Kabir’s life is very interesting and so are his Dohas. Sometimes he seems to be overly religious. Talks about after life and life cycle. Soul searching is what he encourages people t o go for. 15th century poet born 200 years after Rumi sounds similar in many ways. Due to language and explanations that follow after each doha, it sometimes gets boring.
There are far better books on Kabir than this one. Many of his teachings are still relevant but he is presented in this Book as a fantastical person who does magic. I think we should stick to the teachings only that too which are relevant in today's context.
