Read this book to get a feel of how things have changed in the decade or so since this book was published. Many of the recommendations have become outdated (who remembers services like del.icio.us and digg?) although some parts of the content are still slightly relevant.

I love how this book not only talks about the ways you can make a successful website, but also shows you how to. Nelson Bates breaks down the information you need into steps, giving examples along the way. He shares useful tools and resources and tells you how to use them. 2 thumbs up!
