The Shiloh Renewal

Rate this book
A conference on gender and culture at Oregon State University, April, 2005, selected  The Shiloh Renewal as inclusion on their bibliotherapy book list. The conference was titled " Empowering Young Looking Beyond the Words ." Participants in this conference were provided an overview of the process and benefits of bibliotherapy. The Shiloh Renewal is, as Kirkus Reviews wrote, "an electrifying first person narrative." Readers will discover it is a fascinating novel which has also been used in multiple applications of bibliotherapy (PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury). Look for it in your local library, or in multiple military libraries throughout the United States, and in several other countries.
