So… the beginning was great but then it all fell flat and got boring and repetitive. There’s zero angst once they get together. I wanted more to happen or something to give and even tho I enjoyed the smut and their constant and obsessive need to be together, I wanted that obsession and darkness on a deeper level. 2.5 stars.

I read this a number of years ago, but the edition I reviewed seems to have disappeared from Goodreads. Alas, such is the nature of fanfic.
I read it again this month, but I won’t be reading it ever again. Too much smut for my taste. Still, many beautiful moments about the human spirit’s capacity for change.
