What a good read! I could not put down this book! An international political thriller starting of course no other place than K Street in DC but quickly evolving to the beautiful sceneries of Chile. Loved the author, Mary Helen Mourra's imagination and descriptions of the Patagonia, the journey through the Magellan Straight, the glaciers and fjords along with the scientific evidence of how man is ruining the environment as a back drop to this thriller. Every character so well described coming to life in such vivid words. Finally, Emmanuelle, she will have you on the edge of your seat. Wow!!

I really enjoyed this legal thriller set mostly in Patagonia, Chile. I loved the setting, it provided a great imaginary escape to Chile. I also really liked the environmental & indigenous issues in the novel, which were well researched, but didn't come across as preachy. I'm looking forward to the sequel!
