Although Patricia is married and has two children with her husband, Rodney, when she runs into her first and only true love around Christmastime, the feelings she thought she'd buried immediately resurface, setting off a chain of events that causes her life to spin out of control. A love will be found, a love will be lost, and the lives of everyone involved will never be the same.
Every Year Every Christmas was a story of a couple having a second chance at love but went about it the wrong way. There was big twist in this story that I never would have guessed and that made the book even more enjoyable. Great little Christmas story.
You can't go wrong with a J.L. Sapphire book. Real life drama, and contemporary romance is definitely her lane. She makes you feel as if the characters are in some twisted way your friends. In this story, I kept wanting to shake sense into the wife, and slap the husband like bruhhh
This was a good short story that helps people realize that life is really too short to be unhappy! Stop settling and hurting others who could be happier without you! Good job Queen!
It’s definitely devastating for a marriage when infidelity is the reason behind its demise but more so when you have such a strong connection of love in your heart for someone. They were both selfish in how they handled their emotions but in the end I’m glad that everyone will receive some form of peace...Really good read
This was a great, heartwarming short story with an unexpected twist. There were some valuable lessons packed in these few pages and I found it to be relatable. Life isn’t promised and there may not always be enough time to wait for the right time.
Patricia and Rodney have been married for over twenty years, but she always loved her first love, the one who got away, Stephanie. When she he runs into him one Christmas eve, they exchanged numbers and shared a night, they would always remember. Five years after that night Patricia still couldn't get Stephan out of her mind and heart until her husband finally confronted her. This story took me for a rude I wasn't expecting and I was her for it. Thus is a great read and have taught me, that life can be short, but you have to live it to the fullest even if you go about it the wrong way.
