I’ve always struggled reading Verne. As usual, it’s an excellent and fun story (and culturally and historically interesting through how it reflects when it was written); but the way it is written I find a challenge to get through and never feel quite hooked by the prose- it’s always an effort to plot on even though I enjoy the plot
