My love for reading developed at an early age. My parents, Daniel and Gwendolyn Odidison, were both avid readers and encouraged me to read as much as possible. Trips to the public library were the highlight of my week and by the time I was in junior high I was reading everything from biographies to suspense to True Confession magazines!

I got my big “break” when I was only fourteen-years-old. I read my first poem at my local church and received a standing ovation. Reading my poems and seeing my plays come to life on stage proved to me that I had a God-given talent for the written word.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education, I hugged my family goodbye and boarded a plane for Seoul, South Korea. I loved every minute of living in Seoul. The people, the food, the culture, the shopping. Three years later, I returned home with a fresh outlook on life and a gorgeous fiancé (yay me!) Jean-Claude and I married, settled into our new home and now have an adorable, three-year-old daughter named Aysiah who keeps us very busy.

I penned my first novella while teaching in South Korea and upon the advice of a good friend and colleague I transformed, Other People’s Business, into a full-length novel. I wrote The Trouble With Luv’ soon after. Two years and thirty rejection letters later, I signed with super-agent Sha-Shana Crichton from Crichton and Associates. Six weeks later I had a two-book deal contract with Harlequin’s African-American Romance line, Kimani Press.

Her Kind of Man, and Love T.K.O. were both released in ’08, and this year there are more scintillating stories to come. I’ve written seven books now, but I feel like I’m just getting started! A huge thanks to all of you who attend my book signings, send me I-love-your-book-emails, leave messages on my Facebook page and who are recommending my books to other die-hard romantics. Sage Collins and Marshall Grant will heat things up in Games of the Heart (August 2009) and a feisty PR Director and a fine, ex-NFL running back rekindle the flames in Passion Overtime (November 2009). Read an excerpt of my novels under the heading Books.

If you enjoy a good romance story, rich with desire, scorching HOT love scenes and a few unexpected twists and turns along the way, you’ve come to the right place. Grab one of my books, recline in a comfy chair and enjoy the ride! I guarantee you’ll love the heroes and heroines featured in my stories. They’re strong but flawed men and women who are just looking for a little love and tenderness! That’s all for now, friends.
Happy Reading and be blessed!

I'm on a Harlequin binge. I liked the heroine and hero and the rest of the Morretti clan and enjoyed this story. The heroine was very confident and outgoing and her antics (most) made me smile. This story definitely doesn't fit into the chaste, and classic Harlequin romance stories of yesteryear that I remember. Don't stop with Kimani line, the Romantic Suspense line is even better.

My first book in the series and by this author. I haven't read a Harlequin book in YEARS. I cut my teeth on them at the "tender" age of 12. LOL. Graduated to the great authors of the 80's like, Brenda Joyce, Linda Howard, Nora Roberts, Johanna Lindsay , Amanda Quick...you get my drift. Anywho...I stopped reading for a number of years and was lured back in by my first BWWM novel written by LaShawn Vasser. I've been on a BWWM/IR journey ever since!
This return to Harlequin was a nice surprise! I liked these characters, especially Tatiana. She's strong, confident, and resilient. I like Markos as well but sometimes I found myself vacillating between wanting him to be more of an alpha, less vulnerable and more take charge but by the time I finished the book I realized that he is actually just as he should be. He was an alpha, the reader just has the benefit of understanding what motivates him, what compels him, what makes him vulnerable. Ms. Yaye spun a wonderful tale and even delivers on the "reveal" of the who's the father. I recently purchased the second book in the series and plan to read the entire series. I recommend this author and the series. Good work Ms. Yaye!

Another great read by Pamela Yaye!! I was upset at first because I love the Morretti men so when Tatiaya used Markos in order to try and help her sister, I almost stopped reading their story. My curiosity got the best of me so I continued reading and got even more upset when she had thoughts of blackmailing him into doing what she wanted. It just goes to show what would be done in the name of love for family members, even at the cost of your personal happiness. In the end, their love story was funny, upsetting, and quite dreamy and I enjoyed it immensely!

Oh My Goodness!

I don't think I've ever read about a man who was so thirsty for a woman! Marcos is so whipped in this book. ::giggles::

Seriously though, I'm so happy Tatiyana and Marcos were able to overcome their problems. You always exceed my expectations! On to the next book 😀

Loved it! Markos is focused on his career and doesn't leave room for a relationship. Tatiana is determined to get him to help her sister and in the process her emotions are involved.
