Neither the illustrations nor the text is noteworthy. Art is cartoon-like and amateurish, in the Leonard Kessler vein. There is not much educational content - it would be nice to know more about early uses of stairs in history, even about trivia like how high steps are made generally, the longest staircase, etc.
