Marine at War

Marine at War" was originally published back in the 1960's by Russell Davis about his experiences as part of the First Marines Regiment in the First Marine Division. While first published in 1961 in hardback form for adult readers, in 1965 it was published in paperback, interestingly enough, by the Scholastic Book Services for school children to read (I would guess middle-school and up). But don't let that age grouping fool you; this is one of the best war memoirs I've ever read and not written primarily for young readers.
