Love Against Society

Rate this book
In love and society there exist three very distinct taboos. First take Janis, a 38 year old beautiful white woman, perhaps a cougar! She has overcome the taboos related to her sexual identitiy and embraced her true self. Always one for adventure she knows what she wants and isnt afraid to go after it. Then take RJ, a young Black man of 24. RJ works in the mailroom of Janis' company. He is nonchalant, yet patient, while trying to fulfill his dream of becoming an R&B singer. Perhaps the next Robin Thicke, only smoother. He lives life one day at a time. And 3rd, Janis, wealthy, lives amongst the privileged. RJ, with a daily fight to survive, lives amongst the unfortunate. Older woman, younger man. Black and white woven interracially. One rich, one poor. Throw in an angry, twisted ex-husband along with an attention starved 16 year old daughter and you get Love Against Society!
