Nightstand Reader for Women

Rate this book
A collection of the very best in classic and contemporary writings for women, mixing short stories, poetry, inspiring speeches and quotes, and humorous insights on the fine - but far from lost - art of reading. Emily Bronte, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Robert Frost, Louisa May Alcott, Christina Rosetti, William Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, the Holy Bible, and many other sources are used to create this truly unique and enjoyable selection of nighttime reading. Bound in an exquisite bonded leather case, with a whimsical full color illustration "tipped on" the cover. Four raised hubs on the spine, classic rough-cut edges, generous gold stamping, and a silky ribbon marker complete the impressive packaging. Perfect as a gift or self-purchase for anyone who loves to indulge themselves with a few moments of great reading before retiring for the night. But each book is also ideal for the home decorator who wants to add a touch of class to a nightstand in their bedroom, a child's bedroom, or the guest room.

I’ve had this book since 2005. It’s a beautifully bound book to keep on the Nightstand for women winding down after a long day of work on a job, or work at home. I go back to it and read some poetry or short story. It’s nostalgic for me.
