To do this, a comprehensive skin-tone chart is used where the numbered skin shades are cross-referenced throughout the book. It is based on an idea which eliminates the stereotypes of skin colour which rarely correspond to real life. A detailed questionnaire is included to find out how make-up can lend itself to the image the individual wants to create. Tips on cleansing and skincare are also given.
