Titanic #2

Titanic The Dark Secrets

Rate this book
*This book was previously published as "Secrets." Only the title and cover has been changed. On a bitterly cold night in 1912, as the doomed ocean liner Titanic sinks into the depths of the icy North Atlantic, a lifeboat filled with a handful of survivors lies adrift a short distance away. Inside, a gruff man makes a promise to a 4-year-old girl to find her parents. Eleven years later, young Zee Morelli’s life is in danger as she seeks to uncover the secrets of her past. As she begins a desperate search for the one item she believes will expose everything, she also seeks comfort in the guise of a charming, young rogue and friendship from strangers—not realizing there are those lurking in the raw, colorful New York City of the 1920s who have their own reasons for unraveling the mystery—or for keeping her from discovering the truth—at all costs. Nor does she realize the dark shadow of the Titanic continues to follow her... This is the second in the anticipated three book Titanic Mystery Trilogy. It may be read as a stand-alone mystery, but will certainly be more intriguing and fulfilling read in order!

An interesting idea that should have been a great mystery, but unsatisfying. Too much redundant emotionalism chapter after chapter for me.
