Hildebrando perez Grande, main Professor of the Faculty of letters and sciences human of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. His poems have been put to music by Rosa Alarco, Emilio Flores, Marino Martinez Espinoza and other popular composers. They have been interpreted and recorded by Richard Villalon, Kiri Escobar, Margot Palomino and the "Jaylli" music group. Some of his poems have been translated into English, French, German, and Portuguese. He currently leads "Literary Creation Workshop" at the Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya.
Hildebrando Pérez Grande (born in Lima, 1941) is a renowned Peruvian poet. He is considered one of the main representatives of the "Generación del 60" in Peruvian poetry alongside with Marcos Matos, Javier Heraud and Antonio Cisneros. His poems have been translated into English, French, German and Portuguese. He is an emeritus professor and former director at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of the National University of San Marcos and is currently an adjunct professor at the Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University in Lima.
