Edwin Emery Slosson (1865 – 1929) was an American magazine editor, author, journalist and chemist. He was the first head of Science Service, and a notable popularizer of science.
An important work if one is looking at the history of higher education. It is worth acknowledging the role Slosson and the Association of American Universities combined to play in the development of credentialing, associations, and advancement in prestige of higher education. Beyond that, however, most will not find too much of note here unless they have an interest in the historical.
