Molly Delaney did a wonderful job capturing the relationship of a big sister and a little sister. The narrator is the younger sister and she tells of the pains and joys of being a younger sibling.. Because of the simplicity of the book I would definitely use it in a Pre-kindergarten or Kindergarten class. This is one of my favorites because of the humor. Family is often a serious matter to discuss and this book takes the seriousness out of the situation. This is a great fiction books that kids with older or younger siblings can relate to. Molly Delaney illustrated the book with pictures that projected the words well, and for young readers who aren't reading as well it is a good book to be able to look at the pictures to associate with the words.
