في ذلك الكهف المنزوي
على الرغم من إن أحداث الرواية تتناول فترة الانتفاضة التي تلت حرب تحرير الكويت كرد فعل طبيعي لهذه الحرب وما رافقها من إرهاصات، تغوص عميقاً في تاريخ عائلة الحاج عباس ومدينة الكرامة، المدينة التي لا وجود لها إلا في خيال الكاتب، في سرد دقيق للأحداث السابقة واللاحقة. هي رواية تتزاحم وتتداخل في الشخصيات والشخوص والشواخص الذين انطلقوا إلى بيت ناء عند أطراف المدينة ’الكهف‘، نقطة السيطرة التي هجرها الجنود خلال الحرب خوفاً على حياتهم من نقمة الناس، لينسلخ هؤلاء الفتية عن العالم الخارجي استعداداً للدفاع عن المدينة.
كان لكل واحد حكاية دفعته للتصدي للحكومة: طاهر الكاتب في المحكمة الذي دمرت مدرسة الرياضيات مستقبله، الاستاذ باقر الذي أعدمت السلطات إبن عمه دون سبب، شمخي السماك الذي ورطه رجال الأمن في القبض على أحد الفارين في الأهوار وإعدامه بحيلة خبيثة، فلاح وسمير اللذان عادا من جبهات القتال مبهوظين بقصص القتل التي تعرض لها الجنود على جبهة الكويت في العراء وتحت رحمة الطائرات الامريكية التي لم ترحمهم، أحمد الذي ظهر من تحت سرداب منزله بعد سنوات من الاختفاء وظن الجميع إنه ميت ليسرد حكايته وقصة أخيه الذي أعدمته السلطات، حمدي المصري الذي يخشى على مصيره القتل بعد قرار صدر بالتعنيف والشدة ضد المصريين الذين بقوا في العراق للضغط على الحكومة المصرية لوقوفها ضد غزو الكويت.
وكان للحاج عباس أكثر من حكاية: قصة أبيه منصور الذي قتل الضبع وغنم بندقية من أحد الجنود الانجليز، قصص الظلم والاضطهاد منذ تولي البعثيين سدة الحكم. كان لجميع الأماكن الذي ظلت شاخصة في المدينة حكاية خاصة بها: البساتين والبزول وبيت شمة المهجور والقلعة القديمة والمدفع البريطاني العملاق الذي أظل سبيله وبقي شطراً من تاريخ مدينة الكرامة. وبين هذا وذلك تستقبل المدينة حكايات القادمين لها: سعد وبدر اللذان جاءا للانتقام من المسؤل الحزبي لأنه المسؤول عن تسفير عائلتهم إلى إيران ليستولي على جنة والدهم عندما كان مدير دائرة الزراعة بمدينة الإمارة، حسين الشريف الذي فر بمخطوطات نادرة لإبن عمه، مسؤول مكتبة مدينة الناصرية، لأنه خشي عليها من السرقة والحرق إبان الانتفاضة التي عصفت بالسواد الأعظم من مدن العراق وأراد إيصالها لمسؤول مكتبة الكوفة لأنه يعرف أنى يعتني بهذه النفائس. ويكرس الفصل الأخيرة تغير النظام ورحلة عودة أمير من أمريكا للعراق في جولات وجولات ليدرس إمكانية استقراره النهائية في وطنه، دون أن يتمكن في كل مرة بسبب المنغصات الكثيرة التي تحول دون ذلك.

The novel is an allegory that talks about Iraqi society and the deprivation, restriction and destruction that the people lived through.
Poverty, loss, and dispersion.
(And our thirst today in the pit ...)
Because of the intense thirst for justice and fairness that the Iraqi individual lacks, he is forced to migrate outside his country to seek peace and stability.
The writer used history as a boat to swim with us in the world of its merits and significance.
Although the events of the novel deal with the period of the uprising that followed the war of liberation of Kuwait as a natural response to this war and the accompanying harbingers, it delves deep into the history of the Hajj Abbas family and the city of dignity ...

رواية ممتعة كتبت باسلوب سلس ومشوق في نفس الوقت...ان تكون كاتبا واقعيا لايعني ان تكون مؤرخا ...بل يكفيك ان تسرد الاحداث بذكاء وتضفي عليها الحبكة المطلوبة كي تشد قارئك من الغلاف للغلاف ...

انا قرأت هذه الرواية للمؤلف وفي الحقيقة الى الان لازلت اعيش اجوائها . لازلت ابحث عن ابطالها في وجوه اهل الناحية . كلما امر على مدخل المدينة التفت باحثا عن ذلك الكهف وكأني اعرفه .الى الان اجواء الكهف واحاديث الابطال فيه تدغدغ ( تنغمش بالعامية ) مشاعري . عندي خوف من قراءة الروايتين اللاحقتين ( اخاف ان يحتل بطل اخر مكان ذلك الكهف في قلبي ) . رائعة رائعة رائعة اسرت قلبي . الى مزيد من التألق بأذن الله

قرأت منها عشرين صفحة ولم استطع اكمال الباقي. حكايات بسيطة ومملة مكتوبة بلغة ركيكة يمكن لأي مدون فيسبوك يكتب افضل منها عشرات المرات. لا أعلم كيف تجرأ المؤلف على ارسالها للنشر؟ وكيف وافقت دار النشر على نشرها؟ رواية ضعيفة جدا ومملة ولا انصح بقرائتها.
