My version is a 2014 reprint by Parragon which for some reason has a different ISBN (9781472360236) but is the same author/illustrator as the 2004 version. This reprint has a slightly different cover, advertising it as part of the "Storytime Tales" series.
The book is beautifully laid out, with lovely illustrations and text that curves and goes in different directions. The text is interesting, encouraging readers to think about they see.

Author: Kath Jewitt
Grade Level: K-1
Content: Farm anaimals, habitats
This book introduces the farm life. It is a very interactive book because it asks the reader to partake in certain tasks such as point to the farm animals in the picture. It covers the life of a farmer and different activities performed on a farm. It covers the animals’ habitats and characteristics for each. It also has the reader repeating each animal’s individual noise, such as the pig says oink. Very formative. Basic animals are describes such as horse, pig, sheep, goats, chickens, dogs...etc.

Who this book would be for: PreK-K, ESOL
Topic: Farm Animals and their homes
Reflection:
This book is great for young readers and small children learning about the different animals that live on farms. The book talks about the different sounds the animals make, where they live, what the baby animals are called, and the different foods they eat.
