Allison is off to France to get away from it all, home, boyfriend Martin and just to kick back and have a good time while working babysitting a little girl called Effie.
But the house and its occupants of elderly folk have a lot of secrets from the past that are slowly being revealed when Allison finds an old notebook that tells her more about the shuttered room and it's occupant's sad past than she wishes to have known...
Whimsical, romantic, with hidden family secrets and a hint of the supernatural, all ingredients for a great read.
