Review for “The Final Exit” by Patricia A. Jackson
A very different look at the Galaxy, with a Jedi Master and Apprentice who apparently devoted their studies to the arts? This is something we’ve never explored, and I kinda like the prospect. I always roll my eyes when we start off a story with “Here’s your not-Han-and-Chewie-pair-of-the-week,” but this sold me on the characters very quickly. Immediately every character is distinctive and unique, even if a lot of the tropes are not. I enjoyed this a good bit, and I find it fascinating on top of that.
