I wish I had come across this book before I had children. However God is sovereign over all. If you are starting a family this is a must read.

I really REALLY enjoyed 95% of this book. I had difficulty though with how he talked about departed saints like they are angels. I will agree we have a cloud of witnesses as Hebrews states, but when we die we do NOT become angels. I also do not agree with the strong implication that we will be in eternity without a heavenly body. Our bodies will be raised: if we are in Christ than to eternity with God and if we did not receive Him than our bodies will be raised to be condemned to live eternity without God in hell.

The context of this book has some points of interest but the portrayal of saints being angels just does not sit well with me as this seems to be teaching that you and I become angels when we pass from this lifetime into eternity; a teaching that I do not prescribe by
