Small but concise overview of the history of the Doge's Palace in Venice and the beautiful works, both lost and still there, that embellish it's walls. Explains the architecture and what paintings are important and why and how the rooms refer to the power that was wielded therein.

I love this little book series mostly because I used to buy art books as souvenirs a lot but tend to not read them because they're huge, but being this small you can just grab them for a little read when you want to know the cliff notes to iconic buildings, art style and artists.
