This is a fairly quick read. It took me about 45 minutes to read.

General idea: some other things will have to take back burner in order to write.

I did find this note to be helpful: Rearranging time to write may help you to be more efficient in timing your other tasks.

I couldn’t quite agree with all her tips, as she seems to view being a stay-at-home mom more as the option to do what you want when home rather than being the housekeeper and mom the Bible teaches one should be (in short: it’s really okay if your house gets a little messy or if the TV occasionally babysits your kids, if that’s what it takes to do writing). But I will concur that this wasn’t written from a Christian perspective. For me, I have the drive to write that I can't quench, BUT... I also know from experience that putting others first is something that God will bless (putting others first really isn’t emphasized in this book).

It might be helpful for a wanna-be writer who hasn’t read anything else on writing. Because I’ve read a dozen or two books on writing, I found most of these tips as repeats of things I’ve heard time and again.

Alright, I get that these kinds of ebooks are super easy to write and everyone wants to share tips and tricks from their writing journey, I do, I get it. Heck, I would do it myself if I didn't have several other distractions that were asking for my attention.

However, I've read enough of them to know that they are all mostly the same. Some have found that a certain tip helped them more than another and tout that one about more than this other tip that a different author really liked and thought helpful.

I guess what I'm saying is, read as many of these kinds of books as you can. Then figure out for yourself what is actually going to work for you. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Also, this one is written by a Freelance Article Writer, so that was different.

Good suggestions

This book had some good suggestions about writing in your spare time. As a stay at home mom, it was inspiring to see someone else in the same situation do what I aspire to do.

Useful advice

This is a really short read, but the advice is humorous and useful at the same time. The advice is focused on stay at home parents, but a lot of it could apply to any busy person.
