Angel Hills Pack #1

Omega Arrival

Rate this book
Emotions run high when five omegas are traded to the Angel Hills Pack, which has suffered a decline in population after an illness killed a fourth of its wolves.

After a previous mating Justin would rather forget, he’s happy to leave his old compound and start afresh. A part of him hopes the gorgeous second-in-command alpha, Milo, will choose him for a mate. As memories of his life with Stone haunt his dreams, Justin struggles to make the right decision for himself as well as his four pups.

Gabriel doesn’t want to mate at all, but as one of the traded omegas, he knows he doesn’t have a choice. He just hopes he’ll end up with a beta and not an alpha. How does he feel when he’s mated to both? Grey is the pack alpha of Angel Hills and he and his baron beta, Ian, want to start a family to continue the dynasty. Is that all they want Gabriel for, a breeding machine?

When an intruder is detected in the compound, everyone is on high alert, especially as the new arrival proves remarkably adept at remaining hidden. Will the newly-created mating bonds be strong enough, or will rancor and bitterness win out?

Gabriel, Ian, and Grey - Justin and Milo

Oh my, I loved this story so hard. Alpha’s, beta’s, omega’s, pups, scents, biting, claiming, dedication, submission, pregnancies, infertility, some angst, and a lot of sexiness and love.

We go on a journey with the Angel Hills pack. After the pack lost all their omegas because of a plague, they accepted seven members of the Silver pack, among them five omegas. An omega twin who really wanted to stay together, Justin with four pups, one omega who already made his choice at first sight and a shy withdrawn omega called Gabriel. They come from a bad place where Justin was mated with an awful cruel alpha. Luckily he was put down in a fight.

To be properly included in the pack they will have to mate. That’s easier said than done.

Grey, the alpha of the pack, already has a mate, beta Ian. They love each other deeply.

Still, they want a third. Their eyes are on Gabriel. Milo, Grey’s right hand, was already smitten with omega Justin and can only hope it’s true what the omega’s eyes tell him.

This story, from the first page, was captivating and intriguing. Alpha’s circling omegas, betas circling alpha’s, all so delicious!

There are varied events, misunderstandings, delightful courting, omegas in heat, oh boy... Also omegas in danger from an unexpected side. This, altogether, made it an eventful narrative. I loved every part of it. I loved every character, except one!

This was a pretty good book. Five Omega's from the River Pack. Justin who has four pup's and was Stone's mate was one of them in fact all of Stone's mates decided to leave the pack after River left. This was a good read the old pack is falling apart and a lot of shifters are leaving. With the addition of the new Omega's the Alpha's in the Angel Hills pack things looking up. Milo who is second in command has his eye set on Justin. Each Omega has a choice after the Alpha Grey and his mate Ian who is a Beta they choose Gabriel who is a little weird and shy and he doesn't want to be mated to an Alpha. Justin chooses Milo to be his mate because he is good with his pups. London who is another Omega chooses Tarz a mean rough Alpha. This book focused on two of the Omega's Gabriel and Justin and not so much on the other three London and the twins. I found it weird that Gabriel was embarrassed because he likes sex and when he is in heat he likes it rough. Gabriel thinks that he is only wanted to have pups he knows that Grey and Ian are in love and he wants that for himself. Before they mate he goes into heat and Ian helps him and keeps Grey away. Grey has sex with one of the other Betas who tries to cause trouble with Ian. As the new couple's try to get to know each other they have an unwanted guess who is looking to claim what was his. This was a good read the sex scenes was hot. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next door in this series.

This world never ceases to surprise me. Initially I was a little hesitant regarding this book given that it wasn't about River and Josiah and taking into account the ending of Third Mate, I was really anxious to know about River and Josiah's future. But this book has just given me another relationship I want to know more about and that is the threesome of Grey, Ian and Gabriel.

This book mainly follows Justin and Gabriel on their journey as mates in the Angel Hills Pack.

Gabriel was one person who caught my eye even in the previous books because of his reticence to mating and that made him stand-out as a character but this book puts him in the spotlight and it was amazing.

I loved Gabriel and Ian, they were such amazing characters and in their own ways they kind of challenged the stereotypes of omega and beta and it was very enjoyable meeting these two diverse characters. Ian was actually such a surprise, I mean he is kind of like an alpha in his mannerisms, just looking at him with Grey was amazing. I mean Ian understands Grey so well that even Grey doesn't realise how well Ian knows him. Also even though Grey is the alpha in the relationship between Grey, Ian and Gabriel, it is Ian who holds them together, I mean its amazing how he can comfort both his mates while still never letting Grey's ego take a hit. It was actually amazing and I really want to know where this relationship between Grey, Ian and Gabriel goes especially now, with the subterfuge that Gabriel and Ian have managed to pull off. Oh! I really want to know what happens...

Gabriel is similarly an omega who would give anything to be a beta and be rid of his heats. I instantly liked Gabriel given how he was a little uneasy in his new life which was further compounded by the fact that he had never liked how needy he got while in heat. But I appreciated Gabriel's sensibility given how he works out his options and acts quickly on having figured out that he is kind of getting swiftly pushed into a corner by his own decisions.

I am guessing we are going to get more books on the Angel Hills Pack, because I would love to now more about Gabriel, Ian and Grey.

Then we have Justin and Milo, personally for me in this book Justin and Milo were kind of overshadowed by Gabriel, Ian and Grey except in certain key moments. I loved Justin's concern for his pups and how he realises that he should marry someone who could love his pups even half as much as he does and I loved the scene between Tim and Milo in the end. It was really sweet. Also Justin and Milo had some explosive chemistry reminiscent of Josiah and River. Also I loved the story arc that was centered around Justin and Milo.

There are also other plot elements which are worth mentioning. I loved Gabriel's concern for his fellow omegas and I liked the little hints we get into Vince's situation, Canaan's destructive behaviour and Xavier's plight. Also this book offers information regarding the fate of the people who left the River Wolf Pack, I guess the author wanted to skip the drudgery of River(& Co.)'s travels and get the entire group in a somewhat contained situation before beginning their story while at the same time giving us a very good idea about the fate of the River Wolf Pack and the perils of River's Travels. Also we got a amazing new character in the form of Christopher but I am really hoping Canaan's story can get a peaceful ending, I mean he is somewhat of a disaster but I have always felt bad for him since he lost his son. Here's hoping that story gets a happy ending.

Well as is evident this story resolves a few storylines but opens a whole can of new ones, I am really hoping this means there will be a lot more books which will hopefully be as amazing as their predecessors because I for one can't wait to get a hold of the next one.

I have no idea how omegas have become my guilty pleasure, but it's been an interesting ride. I liked Justin and Gabriel, and I wonder if we'll learn more about Vince and Vaughn, the twins, and Xavier, Christopher, and Canaan. Curse you, Rebecca James for luring me in!

This may have some triggers for some. One old alpha crops up to take back ‘his’ omega and what was done to the omega already was bad. It’s a retelling and then a kidnapping but could still be traumatic to some so be aware.
Also, make sure you read the River Wolf Pack series first, for sure. I haven’t read the Cascades one yet, but when you start this story, if you haven’t read the River Wolf one, you are going to miss some important info. So be aware.
I have to tell you. I hated the way things were turning in the River Wolf pack. I felt for River and so many more, because things were changing and not in a good way. And when Milo went to pick up the omegas and others for the trade they made, it was obvious River had walked away, with so many others. The ‘alpha’ now, has basically lost his mind, and things are so badly worn down, it’s a wonder anything is surviving at all. And Justin and the others are ready to run. They are more than happy to be leaving, especially after Justin and his other ones that were mated to Stone, what they went through. Gabriel, Justin, the twins, all of them are nervous to start over. All for different reasons. Some are coming across wrong, some feel like they aren’t good enough, some feel like they are breaking things up. And it’s hard to adjust. But as they are starting to settle in, things seem to be getting a little better, until the past comes to haunt them. And the truth of things that are happening and have happened, are devastating. And hopefully it can be fixed before someone dies or anything else happens.
It’s definitely been a change to see what was once a flourishing pack be so run down. I don’t blame River and them for leaving. And I don’t blame Justin and them for wanting to run as far as they could from the mess things seem to be now. It’s hard when greed and power work into things and there’s no balance. And I think that’s what made me love this pack so much. River was trying to do the same and let people have choices and make things better, but it was just too much of an upheaval. And the Angel Hills are wanting to do the same. They are trying to make sure that people have choices, and things are moving forward. It doesn’t mean that things aren’t going to be hard and that they don’t want to adjust some things, but they are trying to be more progressive. I love that they are giving these new guys a chance to adjust. I’m glad they are finding true happiness, which is what they should have had all along. And with some new developments that have cropped up, I’m hoping a few others can find a happy ending they need.

Promising, but as I haven't read anything from this world before, it was tough to get dropped in without too much information. Also, as there were two different pairings (one a menage), the story felt split.

Five omegas relocated into pack with Alpha/Beta/Omega menages, Alpha/Omega pairings, and knotty mpreg

- 4 stars for setting and potential (semi-forced mating of traumatized Omegas leading to potential mpreg)
- 2 stars of way-too-brief coverage of too many characters, relationships, threats, and intrigue
- rounding to 3 stars overall

Recommended for: fans of Alpha/Beta/Omega shifter dynamics (including knotty mpreg) who appreciate breadth rather than depth; fans of the previous River Wolf Pack trilogy interested in what happens next

This"4th," follow-on installment of the River Wolf Pack has plenty of elements of interest to fans of Alpha/Beta/Omega shifter mating and mpreg, following several omegas as they are relocated to a new pack. On a positive note, the author builds upon events in the previous series while leaving new readers enough information to enjoy this book as a standalone (although it probably works a bit better if the first books have been read first).

This somewhat short novel follows a bewildering array of characters, including five omegas and their various matings into two Alpha/Beta/Omega menages, a couple of Alpha/Omega pairings, the traumatic readjustment of the of the Omegas recovering from past abuse, the trauma of an Alpha and a Beta outside of all of these characters facing grief, and scheming shifters, including a villain outside of the pack and potentially a former mate/beta inside. While each of these elements is interesting in its own right, the pace of the book seemed to more walk through important and potentially intriguing events much too quickly, not letting the reader feel the depths of the conflict or chew on some nice, meaty relationship/danger/trauma/trust issues. In other words, the author provides a usually quick taste or small serving of each of these myriad of interesting plot/character twists, instead of allowing the reader to fully savor and digest a more hearty portion of a few of the meatiest story developments.

While I found this "4th," follow-on installment of the River Wolf Pack series to be marginally better than the first book, the writing and characters often seemed too stilted and the plot execution more formulaic than enticing, probably because the author quickly covered such a wide range of interesting ideas in a somewhat short work.

"Omega Arrival" is the first volume of "Angel Hills Pack" series created by Rebecca James, in which the author comes back to the universe from her other series, such as "River Wolf Pack" (describing events before "Angel Hills Pack") and "Cascade City Pack" (in which the events are in parallel with those presented in "Angel Hills Pack"). As in "Omega Arrival" we meet some of the characters from "River Wolf Pack", and some events in this book are related to those from the other series, the question is whether the reader who's interested in "Angel Hills Pack" must start with reading the series that precedes this one. Generally speaking, there is no need for that as we don't really need to know "River Wolf Pack" to understand "Omega Arrival" and learn something about this universe. Nevertheless, at the beginning to someone who starts their adventure with this world, the story presented in this novel is quite chaotic and the construction of the universe is based primarily on what happened in another series, and it's all only mentioned in this book, so that makes it very vague, "foggy". However, you can get used to it quickly.

Although the universe is not one of "Omega Arrival"'s greatest advantages, the characters certainly are. The novel focuses on presenting the events from several, mostly related, points of view, thanks to which we get to know quite a few key characters in the story. And it's really worth emphasizing that we quickly fall in love with them, thanks to which, regardless of who is the leading hero in a given chapter, we are constantly interested in the story, follow it closely and want to know what is about to happen with the characters as soon as possible. I really liked the fact that the author focused not only on what happened and continues to happen in the lives of her boys, but also focused on the multidimensional construction of her characters. What's more, she gives us insight into their psyche, thoughts and dilemmas, which affects the reader, their emotions, and thus makes the love we feel towards these characters even deeper.

In my opinion, an undoubtedly interesting thread we see in "Omega Arrival" is a pack that falls apart, as it lacks a responsible, sensible leader who could protect it from the fall. This image of a pack is juxtaposed with its complete opposite, which is a flourishing, well-functioning group of werewolves. What's important, the differences in the functioning of these two packs are also emphasized by the motif of exchanging the workers for some omega werewolves, which underlines the problems these groups face – economic vs. social/family issues. To be honest, I can't remember any other novel with a similar motif of exchange of some pack members for others. At first, it scared me a bit, as it almost resembled human trafficking, but the author quickly calmed my fears because she underlined the fact that the exchanged members can return to their original pack whenever they want if there are any problems.

I think that Gabriel and his problems with accepting the fact that he is an omega deserve our special attention. He doesn't really feel comfortable in his own skin, he has the impression that others perceive him as a werewolf whose only value is his ability to bear children. It's really a very interesting and deep subject that reaches deep into the character's psyche, and gives the reader an opportunity to stop for a moment and think about the problem of sexuality. Gabriel is an omega, which allows us to relate his problems and dilemmas to the situation of real-life women. I admit that Gabriel's initial reflection on his gender hits home, so I'm glad that he has found his way in life and I hope that I will also find mine one day.

In summary, "Omega Arrival" is a pretty good novel, which is a great start to the new series. The biggest advantage of this book are undoubtedly the characters we fall in love with in the blink of an eye and whose story we really want to follow. And if you give "Omega Arrival" a chance, you won't be able to resist the temptation to read the next volumes of the series.

_______________________________

Z początku trochę mnie to przeraziło, przypominało niemal handel ludźmi, jednak autorka szybko uspokoiła moje obawy, ponieważ podkreśliła fakt, iż wymienieni członkowie mogą w razie problemów w każdej chwili powrócić do swojej pierwotnej watahy.

As excited as I was to begin this new series by Rebecca James, an offshoot of the 'River Wolf Pack' series, I was still sad knowing I wouldn't see River, Josiah, Sam, Leo, and the rest of the characters I had so fallen in love with. I was eager to see how Justin was going to fare with this new pack considering his former mate had abused him and I was looking forward to new characters - plus some familiar omegas who went to Angel Hills - and learning to love more werewolves.

Milo was introduced in the final book of the 'River Wolf Pack' series as he had come from Angel Hills Pack in Alabama to see about trading for some omegas. The Angel Hills pack suffered a profound loss due to disease and lost over a fourth of its members, including all of their omegas. The pack is currently suffering as no new pups are being born. Milo is shocked and saddened at what the River Wolf pack compound has become in the short time he has been gone, and River, with his people, have left. I was saddened, also, but it was a good reminder from the author about what can happen when hatred and fear of people who are different runs rampant.

I fell in love with Justin and hated his situation back in the River Wolf pack. His mate, Stone, was a brute of an alpha, and terrified Justin. His only comfort is his pups, two sets of twins who are absolutely adorable. Now that he's in Angel Hills pack, Justin really hopes Milo wants to mate him. Milo might be second-in-command and an alpha, but he makes Justin feel safe. Gabriel, on the other hand, has never really wanted to mate anyone, and even though he knows he'll have to in this new pack, he never expected it to be the pack alpha, Grey, and his beta mate, Ian. Gabriel is scared of being vulnerable and of needing anyone, and would have preferred being born a beta, but these two men short-circuit his thoughts and feelings. He just wishes they looked at him the way they look at each other.

First, let me say that this new series is part of a larger set of books. Unfortunately, I haven't read the first trilogy, so a lot of the beginning was a bit confusing for me. I was able to catch up fairly quickly, but I would strongly suggest reading the River Wolf series before starting this book.

This story revolves around a bargain made with another pack for five omegas. The Angel Hills pack, although forward thinking in some ways, is the first ABO book l have read in a long time that hasn't completely modernized its ways. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just something different from what seems to have become the norm.

The book follows the mating of all five omegas, although its main focus is on just two; Justin and Gabriel. Justin has apparently been through he!! with his previous mate, and Gabe is reluctant take a mate. However, Justin already has his sights set on an alpha, and Gabriel knows he has no choice about being mated, just with whom, and even that is debatable.

There are a lot of story lines going on at once, and I would have liked to have seen more depth in one than details stretched thin over them all. The two main romances were sweet, but did not have the development that I would have preferred. The main conflict happens about midway through (maybe 3\4), and then things get on a more personal level.

I did not like what happened with Gabriel's triad simply because it is something I don't enjoy reading about. It's not a kink or anything, just decisions made. I really liked Justin and his mate Milo, and the way Milo treated Justin's pups.

Overall, I enjoyed several aspects of the story, and my lack of knowledge from the previous stories did not affect my review. However, IMO, the author tried to fit too much into one book, and the thing between Gabe and his mates are what really made up my mind. Perhaps fans of the overall series will find this more to their liking. It was a decent book; it just wasn't my cup of tea.

I received a free copy of this book and I am leaving my honest opinion.

I love Alpha/Beta/Omega romance stories, but usually, I only read them in fanfiction form. This is one of the very few times that I have ventured into actually reading a full novel around this romance trope, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Usually in fanfiction this trope is limited to taking your favorite characters and applying these tropes to them. Rebecca James has created an entire cast of characters, build a world with history around them, and then written a moving story about them.

This story takes place in the Angel Hills pack. This pack has had a shortage of omegas for years ever since a sickness swept the lands, but they are about to receive five omegas from another pack. These five omegas were all mated/going to be mated to the same abusive alpha, so they are all ready to get started on their new lives in the Angel Hills pack. This book focuses on two of those omegas, Justin and Gabriel.

Justin already has children of his own, and he goes through the book falling for Milo, the second in command alpha. I think that this was my favorite romance in the story, as Milo never "claimed" Justin. Instead, it was a slow burn romance as the two got to know one another. It was assumed that they would end up together, but Milo did not claim him at the start of the novel immediately. I felt like I preferred this type of alpha/omega romance more because it evens the power imbalance between the two sub genders. Claiming isn't an inherently bad type of A/B/O romance, but as a sucker for slow-burn I liked the two getting to know one another first. There also isn't a "soulmate" aspect in this story, so all the couples have to actually fall for one another without outside influence.

Gabriel was claimed by Grey and Ian at the start of the novel, but this romance was still just as sweet. I loved how James explored the line of an omega being uncomfortable with their sub gender. Gabriel felt uncomfortable as an omega who has no control over themselves during their heats, and so he needs a lot of reassurance from Grey and Ian before he can begin to fall for them.

This was honestly the best book in the series so far to me. I loved seeing how Gabriel and Justin found love after having such a difficult beginning when they first presented as their sub gender. I truly believed that they both made good matches for their love interests in this book, and I was truly excited to see how their relationships grow through the rest of the series.

I received a copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.

Omega Arrival is the first book in the Angel Hills Pack series by author Rebecca James. I loved this story. Action-packed, and the chemistry is spot on. I loved meeting all the men, and I want to know more. I liked that I am so excited about more of the story sometimes that is hard with a first book. But this one is done beautifully.
Milo is taking a group of Omegas from another pack to Angel Hills pack. He is not a guy who likes a lot of politics. He is protective of those he loves. And has a great heart. He has strong feelings for Justin but wants the newly acquired Omega to be able to make his own choices.
Justin is an Omega from the Red River pack. He is joining Angel Hill. He is scared, but also excited. He feels a pull towards Milo. He also likes that for once in his life he is going to get to have choices he didn’t have before. He is expecting twins. Scared no one will want him because of that.
Now in this story, there is way more than Just and Milo’s story going on. But for this review, I did the focus on them. I don’t want to give you any spoilers. There is a ton of books to read and a ton of people to meet. However, it is not overwhelming.
When you want to start a series with wolves you will not forget I highly suggest this one. It is the perfect start to this series, and I cannot wait to read more.

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:
A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series
from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year),
it's like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok)
It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the
whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

While I like fated mates stories, I appreciated that Omega Arrival wasn't one. I found it refreshing that there wasn't instant recognition of a mate bond or insta- anything, really. In fact, most of the five omegas that moved to the Angel Hills pack took some time for knowing their possible mates.

The author has created an interesting world, in which beta wolves could give birth to just one child during a life span, a world where mate bonds with multiple partners were the norm. And I loved the choice to offer multiple points of view and seeing two relationship forming: a basic, if I can call it that, alpha/omega one, and another between an alpha, an omega and a beta. The jump from one shifter's thoughts and emotions to another was what I liked most about this book, because it kept me always invested and entertained.

I'm so happy this is only the first book in this series and I can't wait to read more about the shifters of Angel Hills.

There were a lot of names thrown out at the beginning that I feared I’d have a hard time keeping up, but thankfully it wasn’t so bad once the story unfolded more. I loved that this was mainly about two different couples and how easily the story flowed between the two. A few other couples are involved, but the main ones were Justin and Milo, and then the triad of Gabriel, Ian and Grey.

I really like Justin and Milo’s relationship, but I was captivated with knowing all about Gabriel and how he would handle both Grey and Ian. Both relationships had some emotional moments, but the triad that Gabriel was a part of really touched my heart.

I easily figured out who the intruder was, but it only got me more intrigued as I was hoping to get some answers.

I’m excited to see X possibly get a story.

First of all, there was so many characters in this story. I thought I was going to be confused, but fortunately I wasn’t. There were 2 story arcs going on in this story. Milo, an alpha and Justin an Omega, and Gabriel an Omega, Ian a Beta and Grey the packs Alpha. Milo was sent to bring home 5 Omegas and 3 Betas. He had previously met Justin and felt a connection with him. Justin wanted to make sure whoever he chose would also accept his pups. Ian and Grey had been mated for years and wanted to add an Omega in hopes of furthering their Alpha line. The story was well written with some angst and lots of insecurity in Gabriel. Can’t wait to read more of all the characters.
I am voluntarily leaving a review form an ARC that I received from Gay Romance Reviews. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

Justin and the other omega’s arrive at the Angel Hills pack. He doesn’t know what awaits him. He just sure it has to be better than what he had with his old alpha. Milo is an Alpha, very interested in Justin and his four sons.

Grey and Ian are interested in Gabriel, another of the omega’s. It not any easy courtship.

A whole lot of people in this story, with varying degrees of importance. I’m not acquainted with the book this one spins off of, but I didn’t feel to lost.

The respect the omega’s receive is nice in that they are allowed to pick their mate. Nice story with a few differences in the usual alpha/omega lore. Strong characters carried the story along. The series has lots of potential.

This is a splendid start to a new MM shifter romance series & I really enjoyed reading it although in the beginning I was slightly confused trying to sort out all the different characters involved. The plot is extremely informative & incredible entertaining. There are some heart-wrenching events & the reader will empathize with some of the characters that go through various trials & tribulations.
There is: wolf shifters, alphas, betas, omegas, rogues, drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, action, adventure, threats, danger, violence, conflict, devastating memories, coercion, emotional turmoil, unease, manipulations, compromises, heat issues, contentment, surprises, love, some steamy scenes & a satisfying conclusion

2.5-3 stars

I was a little disappointed with this one.

The author focused on various characters and it became somewhat overwhelming.

Poor Justin was traumatised by his previous mate. He was raped and his time with his previous mate left him with horrible memories. I didn’t feel much of a connection between Milo and Justin. The attraction was there but the emotional connection just didn’t get there for me.

Personally, too many characters were focused on but nothing was fully developed to the extent I would have liked.

*I voluntarily read this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else's*

Angel Hills Pack needed Omegas since theirs were wiped out in a sickness but not just the Omegas but some of the pack also. Alpha made a trade with the River Wolf Pack for some Omegas and Betas. What they saw was lots of disorder for a pack that had been around a long time. Milo gets the Omegas and goes back to Angel Hills and they are in shock with the way they are being treated. They are treated better than what they were treated before. Giving the Omegas a better life showing them what love and care is.

I loved the start of Angel Hills Pack series. I love a new series, even a break out from another one. Fresh starts are so interesting. I liked how everyone had a chance to get to know each other and I loved that the omegas were brought in for a reason, but with total say in what happened, and I loved the book of suitors. I liked that it was about 2 main couples and we still got to learn a bit about others in the pack. I love mpreg and this book didn’t disappoint. It was sexy, hot, interesting, easy to read and fast-paced. I would definitely recommend it.

It had good bones but was scattered

Overall I liked the book. I liked the characters and the plot. My issue was the author tried to pack too much into a small book. There was too many characters to keep track of. Jumping from 5 people's point of view made it hard to keep up with a timeline. Each couples timelines were different and at one point the time went backwards for a couple. Just very odd writing. Overall was a nice read just would've been better as either 2 separate books or more refined.

won from goodreads for honest review....

Omegas have become my guilty pleasure. But this book has just given me another relationship I want to know more about and that is the threesome of Grey, Ian and Gabriel. I wonder if we'll learn more about Vince and Vaughn, the twins, and Xavier, Christopher, and Canaan. Great book. Good to see some old characters and see the interactions with the new ones. Hope to see this series continue.

Angel Hill series follows the River Wolf Pack series. It is recommended that River Wolf Pack series is read prior to beginning this series.

River Wolf Pack is in disarray after Alpha River is forced out with a few loyal members.
5 omega & 3 beta members decide to leave for Angel Hill Pack under a prearranged agreement between the two pack.
Omega Arrival follows mostly omegas Justin and Gabriel as they settle into their new mated relationships and into a new pack.
We get glimpses into Caanan psychic and Vincent’s struggle to settle into his mated relationship.
There are a lot of secondary characters in this book, who we do get to know better as the series progresses.
All in all, a good start to this spin-off series.

Told From Multiple POV's

🚨Warning🚨
This is connected to another series that came out first, there are some mention of it.so you might want to read it first...

I did not and I was a little lost, but I powered on...
This book focus is on two of the five Omegas from the River pack series, Justin and Gabriel and their new starts.

I'm not a fan of the communal pack sex idea, cheating is cheating, and the way they just casually shrug of Grey's time with Cannan irked me.

Omega Arrival by Rebecca James is the first book in the Angel Hills series. It has mpreg, shifters, menages and pack dynamics. There is drama, angst, steam, and love connections. There are multiple points of view telling their stories and that made it very enjoyable - the reader can see this world through different points of view and get an appreciation for it. Very interesting story and the characters are intriguing. I definitely wanted to read more books in series.

I didn’t realize that this series was a spinoff of another one, however, after I got over the slight confusion of so many names and past plots in the first chapter, the story evened out and explained everything. I love how Milo completely and totally accepted Justin and his pups and loved them all unconditionally. I liked how we got bits of every omegas story but I wish we had a gotten a bit more depth into Grey’s feelings for Gabriel and also how Vince was coping. Overall, enjoyable story.

Great start to the series. This started off jumping into the plot and things flow fast as we get to know all these characters. It feels like there is a lot going on but you're drawn to certain main characters and want to know about this crazy Universe. Gabriel and Justin are some of my favorites and can't wait to see what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.

Heartwarming with a little suspense to keep you up past your bedtime!!!😍😍😍

Beguiling omegas have finally landed in Angel Hills. It's been so very long since their omegas died. Now there's a chance again. Rebecca James has created a world that's compelling and exciting. The MC's are fierce and loyal and just trying to find love. I invite you to open your hearts to these characters. Worth it!😘 Highly recommended!😁
