even when the dry writing style settled in I found some missed opportunities with this book. However, the cases themselves are rather intriguing and interesting to hear. Eventually, what I think sores my experience with this book is that it is really padded out with a lot of side conversations that don't integrate into the narrative of the case as much as the writer wants them to. I managed to finish it, but now I am not sure what kind of reader I can recommend this to.

Nice book,... interesting stories from the front line of being a Poison Control Doctor. Look forward to more from the author. Quick read, wish there was more.
