This book gave great tips on purchasing residential real estate, including intel on websites, realtors and lenders you should access to make the buying process easier. The last chapters focus on buying commercial real estate. The author's passion clearly lies in commercial real estate and it is made evident at the end of the book where the tips and knowledge come fast and are plentiful. I found most pleasure in the last chapters of the book because he was particularly candid when speaking about foreclosures and bankruptcies. He reminded the small business owner about the bankruptcies of huge business and wall street investors. He encouraged small business owners to think outside of the box. I just ordered the Peebles Principles and look forward to reading it next. Thanks you Peebles for the knowledge!

Overall this was a good book

It was written in 2008 during the financial crisis so a lot of the advice is very specific to that market but the author does a good job laying down his perspective on
-the history of residential and commercial real estate
-his process for amassing many residential and commercial properties
-and how buyers can be savvy to build their own portfolio
I recommend the book for the historical perspective but not for the tactics
For 99.9% of people if you own one property and pay it off, then that will provide you enough value for wealth for you and your family

Great book on real estate investing. Good stories that explain his thought process. I wish there was more details on the deals.
