It all starts when on a Sunday night, 7 year old Chinky remembers that she forgot about a school project which is supposed to be submitted on Monday. She calls her best friend Pinky and they rush down, without letting their moms know, to plan something. On the way they meet a mysterious figure and that's when the trouble begins... And begins a fast paced thriller and mystery.

Chinky pinky is a cute little story of two 7- year old girls, Chinky and Pinky who set out for an adventurous trip and finally landed in trouble. The story proceeds with how they survives the danger.
When I started reading the book, my brows met in a frown wondering how two 7 year old girls managed to go out at night let alone call each other and plan. When I looked at my two oversmart kids who are 4 nd 2 years old, I realized that yes, it can be possible.
The book comes with a great message that mothers strive to convey to their children these days. WATCH OUT! BEWARE! How will we tell these to our fragile kids. This is one such story that helps us do this job easily.
My only complaint is about the pricing. The book is a little overpriced especially since it is an e-book A little more colorful illustrations would have made it more attractive.
This will definitely be added among the bed time stories that I will tell my children.

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review and here it goes.. OMG one of the cutest book I have seen and read. The cover looked adorable too. It was a short story, but the story is well written and fast paced. This book can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
This story was very entertaining. It starts out where 2 young girls Chinky and Pinky are stressed over missing an assignment. When they go out in the middle of the night to find supplies for their project, things take an unexpected turn. I found the twist very interesting as the girls are transformed into birds by an evil scientist, who is down on his luck and in need of money (so he resorts to kidnapping and changing kids into birds for sale). Overall, the book was delightful read, which really captures the innocence of children. A good cautionary tale about why you shouldn't take candy from strangers.

I came across this book on Goodreads and found it cute. It's the author's debut in children's books and personally, I was intrigued as I was reading it. The characters are interesting and the tale develops over the span of a few hours. I am excited to read the continuation of the book and wish the author my very best for her upcoming books!
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. This short story is cute and follows the adventures (or misadventures) of Chinky and Pinky who have both forgotten to complete their school project due the following day. There is a dash of horror to make you keep reading and hoping the two children make it through the night.
This was a very short book. It can be read in less than an hour, even by a slow reader. However, the book reads quite clearly and the pace is fast, so that also makes it read faster. There were a couple problems with the English. The book was somewhat enjoyable.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review so thanks @Hemdiva! This book was a short story that follows the adventures of two best friends, Chinky and Pinky. They go wandering in the middle of the night because they didn't finish their school project and as you can probably predict: lots of bad things occurred. This would be a really good book to give to new readers, hopefully little kids, because they would have fun, they wouldn't get bored because it's short, and they would learn a lot about the dangers of nighttime. However, I don't think this book would be appealing to anyone above the ages of 8. I feel like this book could have been taken further! This book could have ended more drastically, they could have gotten hurt or something to make it more realistic and make it a better lesson. I'm also wondering why the moms didn't watch their LITTLE KIDS better? I mean, which mom would just let their 7 year old out of sight? LOL.
The author gave me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I was drawn into reading this book because the title was cute and I wanted a break from the serious books I had been reading. I hoped for something that would put a smile on my face. This books disappointed me because it didn't meet my expectations. There was no part of it that made me smile at all.
There were positive points to the book though. The pace of the story and sense of suspense kept me reading it. There was an important moral in the story which might be difficult for parents to teach young children without the book. The book puts a serious point on a child's level.
If the story had a little more fun in it, I would give it 5 stars.
