Two chunks of hot paranormal fantasies, one about vampires, one about shifters, both filled with some raw and sensual spice to make your winter a little less chilly! T.L. Katt presents two very brief tales under one cover, aptly named WINTER THRILLZ.
Tigress – Life has sent Jestin on a quest for a quiet vacation in his family’s cabin in the woods only to find danger from both the wildlife and one of his neighbors. The old man told him of a curse, and said that both he and Jestin were part of that legacy of death. When Jestin is confronted by wolves, he becomes a believer in things that go bump in the night, especially when the beautiful white wolf changes into a woman who claims him as her own, and oh, what a claiming! Hot. Spicy. Raw. Trust me, Jestin’s life will NEVER be the same.
Talons – Meg is a normal mom, nothing outstanding or unusual, until the night she dreams she is carried away by a dark and fearsome creature. The next morning, her “dream” becomes far too real when she finds puncture wounds on her body and a raging fever. What has happened to her? Has she become a Guinea pig for a mad scientist? Is she ground zero for a deadly virus or perhaps vampires are real and she has been chosen, but chosen for what? Will she discover the passion that can exist between two creatures for eternity?
Both tales are a quick fix for paranormal romance lovers with a time budget!

Winter Thrillz is this author's a debut novel. It's made up of two very interesting short adult paranormal stories with a real winter feel.
Talons
Meg is a Doctor who lives with her daughter Amy, and her nanny.
After leaving work and looking forward to get home to be with Amy, she is abducted and has the most bizarre experience. When she wakes up the next day she thinks that it was just a dream but then she notices the signs of what actually took place the night before.
Remembering a similar case, she goes to seek her friend's help and fearing the worse, she makes a run for it. At least until she gets answers and results from her friend. She doesn't feel her usual self and when she finds refuge in the woods, she has the most unexpected encounters and discovers the paranormal world! She finds what she had once lost! Although happy about this fact, she is worried about her daughter. Will she ever see her again?
This short story has an unusual but interesting take on vampires and werewolves. It's full of twists and the best one comes right at the end.

Jestin is a lawyer who is a little disgruntled about his last case. In need of a break, he decides to head up for the mountains.
He thinks that he has seen an animal in the woods but then again, it could have been his imagination. He sees a pair of beautiful eyes watching him through the windows that night and again it's just a glimpse. He does notice some large prints the next day though. He keeps a look out and when lured in the woods, what he sees is not what he would have expected. It turns out that he is part of a prophecy which is about to come true. When it does, he is driven senseless by his sexual needs. Is this the beginning of a new life?
This short story is erotic and unpredictable. Another compact story with a good twist. A good debut for this author.

Winter Thrillz is two paranormal short stories. In the first story, Meg is abducted after work but awaken at home with no memory of what occurred. She soon begins to realize that her blood is infected and starts on a quest for answers. This quests soon leads to a world of werewolves and vampires.
I enjoyed this story; my only complaint is that it was too short. I would have liked to read more about Meg and her family and not to have the story be so rushed.
The second story was a shifter story called the Tigress. Jestin has escaped to his family hunting lodge in the mountains for a vacation; he is discouraged with his most recent case as a lawyer and needs a break. While at the lodge he sees a beautiful white animal with violet eyes watching him and is drawn to this animal. As she reveals herself and her family as shifters, she explains that it has been prophesied that he is to be her mate. This story has a nice twist.

Winter Thrillz is Great
Winter Thrillz contains two short stories about shape shifting vampires and werewolves that were very entertaining. Both begin with humans who find themselves confronted with odd circumstances. The first story begins when a widow and doctor, Meg Mercer, is abducted by a large eagle and her life is never the same. She meets Frederic, reunites with her missing husband, and transforms. The second tale concerns Jestin, an attorney, who escapes from a stressful job to his late father's cabin in winter. He soon finds himself drawn to a lovely shifter woman with violet eyes. She's been watching him at night. His life becomes transformed once his desire to mate takes over. It's all a thrill. Great fun if you love shifter romance.

This short book contains two stories about paranormal creatures. The first about a woman turning into something that she knows nothing about. A strange dream, an abduction and a reunion she never expected.
The second about a prophecy that throws an unsuspecting man into the strangest new life with a beautiful, mysterious woman….
Both of these stories had such great plots and lots of potential. If you are looking for interesting paranormal stories, you came to the right place. They are certainly entertaining, even if they feel a bit unpolished. I give Winter thrillz 3.5 stars.

Winter Thrillz vol 1 is a short but entertaining read. It contains 2 paranormal short stories. They are short but definitely have their steamy moments.
In one story a woman is snatched by a winged creature, but wakes up the next morning not remembering much of anything from the night before. She has some interesting injuries. This story is good, but needs some work. I think the author could truly expand this story into something great. It felt like it was missing something and incomplete.
The other story, Tigress, is about a guy who desperately needs a vacation. He goes out to his family’s cabin for some quiet time and has the experience of a lifetime. He keeps seeing something in the window of the cabin and can’t quite seem to catch whatever it is. Tigress is a cool story that has some serious steamyness that pops up out of nowhere. It’s better written than the other story, and I feel this story was complete.
Overall, this isn’t a bad book if you are looking for something short but different. The vampires and shifters in this book are fairly different from other stories about them, at least to me. The vampires are definitely different.

Two stories that I thought were well written and had well thought out story line. They were paranormal stories and I love reading them. I was not disappointing. In fact, wanted some more... I really enjoyed reading these stories. I would recommend Winter Thrillz vol 2 to anyone who likes to read thrillers and paranormal mysteries. Can't wait for the Winter Thrillz vol 3.
