I feel I'm more prepared to take IELTS next week after doing exercises from this book. I am now familiar with question types that might appear on the test (which is certainly different from TOEFL), and I know where my weaknesses are in each area. The strategy tips are also very useful.
One minor quibble. For the speaking test, they have sample interviews and evaluation grid and have you assess each sample, but I would've liked to know the real band score for each so I can compare myself with them and predict where my own band would be. As it is now, I can only guess what our band scores.
