All Grandma’s, this book is for you! The author has written helpful advice for any Grandma who is unsure of her place in her grandkids lives. She explains that prayer is the key to being a great Grandma. The author provides a list of 30 topics you can pray about. You can take one topic each day for a month and pray for that area in your grandkids life. Some topics include freedom from jealousy, kindness, courage, passion for God, and gratefulness.
While prayer is important, so is spending time with them. Here are some ideas this Grandma had for your time with the grandkids. You could set up an obstacle course, throw water balloons, or even take them on a treasure hunt. She stresses that it is really the simple things they will enjoy the most. Take the time to go on walks with them or just sit out and look at the night sky.
She emphasis’s that the most important task for you is to be their cheerleader. Always be certain to say things like, I sure do love you, I’m so proud of you, and I like your smile. A Car Seat in My Convertible is an uplifting book and a perfect gift for any Grandma!
