Boxes is a novel about Alex Rothman, a fifty year old Botanist and commitment phobic, and Ruby Solomon, a forty-five year old sculptor who makes boxes. She wants romantic love but is unable to resolve her obsession about her first husband who jilted her on her wedding night. She can only love unavailable men. She struggles with breaking out of the past, and trying to balance her career as an artist, with her relationships. She meets a well known art dealer and falls desperately in love. Can she handle it? Can she balance art , love, and family?
