*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Becca never wanted to believe what others said about her mother, but when she becomes a target of those who'd tortured and killed her mother she'll have to start believing what she's always know in her heart as truth. Her mother was a witch...and the powers she unknowingly has can destroy everything she's come to love.

She is a warrior in her own right. Her work takes her to places most wouldn't dare travel and she loves it. She enjoys the challenge. Nothing or no one will stop her from what she needs to do.

Cael wanted Becca from the moment he saw her across the crowded club, but she was a distraction he didn't need. Being a Saint he can sense emotions and hers were off the charts. She not only feels many things at once, but she can capture and project emotions without knowing she's doing it, and that's a big problem for people like the Saints who use sensing emotions to stop crimes before they happen.

He wanted to protect Becca, but he'll discover she's much stronger and more determined than he'd ever have given credit. Although he wants nothing more than to stand in front of her he'll learn they're more powerful side by side.

Saint's Row is an intriguing and suspenseful story that'll take you deep into the paranormal of Louisiana. The Saints are a unique and interesting people who I look forward to reading more about. I was easily transported into their world and cannot wait to see what book two brings. Not to mention that yes it does in fact end on a slight cliffhanger leaving me wanting more.

"Pride or arrogance...I wasn't sure what emotion he was emanating, but it caused every tuxedo-clad Saint to turn my direction. Territorial. He was laying claim."

I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Like always all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Like I have said before I am not the best at putting into words how I feel about what I have read so I hope this makes since and I hope it is helpful.

There is a lot of cussing in this book and a few steamy scenes which doesn't bother me at all I love a good steamy book but if that's not your cup of tea be warned. With that being said I don't feel like this is just another erotic romance book. There is so much more to the story than the romance aspect. I thought this book was fantastic and it was fast paced. It had me hooked from the beginning and I ended up reading it in less than hours. This was only 169 pages long but I feel like those 169 pages packed a punch. Honestly everything about this book was perfect in my opinion. The characters and the plot it was all well thought out and executed. My favorite characters are Becca and Cael. From the beginning you are drawn to these characters and you start to care for them. I especially love how Becca is kind of a bad ass female who doesn't need anyone to take care of her she can take care of herself but at the same time she does need a little taking care of sometimes. I really jus loved this story and I can't wait to carry on with the series.
