My daughter is growing her hair and is very keen on trying out new hairstyles. This gives you a great range of different Ponytails, Plaits, Buns, Party Updos and Down Styles. Some of these are for very long hair and so, if you have mid-length hair, some of these will not work for you. However, there are a good range of different styles.
Most of the styles are fairly easy to follow and you can adapt some of these to work with slightly shorter hair. We have discovered some nice variations on plaits, pony tails and buns that are suitable for school, ballet lessons and parties. I am not sure most of the hairstyles in this book are as quick and easy as they are supposed to be, but generally this is a useful resource for inspiration for something slightly different.
This book contains a number of hairstyles, including braids and ponytails, to add to your daily repotoire of do's.
The book is arranged by category and includes large photos of the result and smaller photos of the how to, along with clear instructions.
The author is a professional and educated hairstyler with her own blog, and other blogs are featured in the back of the book.
I only tried one style up to this point and it didn't work for me, probably due to my hair type (thick and curly), but I plan on trying some of the others before I take this back to the library.
