ছ'ফুট উঁচু হয়ে বরফ জমে গেছে পথে-ঘাটে। টেলিফোন লাইন বিচ্ছিন্ন—বাইরের পৃথিবীর সঙ্গে কোন সম্পর্কই রাখতে পারছে না ম্যানরের গুটি কয়েক লোক।

লবণ চাখার জন্যে 'ফাঁদ' গল্পটি থেকে খানিকটা ঝোল দেয়া হলো। ভুরিভোজের ইচ্ছে থাকলে বসে পড়ুন—আরও পাঁচটি ব্যঞ্জন আছে, গলা পর্যন্ত না গিলে উঠতে পারবেন না।

A nice collection of thriller, mystery, detective and western stories. And Rajiv Hasan’s Bengali translation has superb quality.
The collection have one novella and 5 story stories. It will includes the Agatha Christie’s famous novella Three Blind Mice or (Mousetrap in play version). The Bengali translation is called ফাঁদ and it’s so far the best Bengali translation that kept all the suspense intact.
There are three more short stories from Christie. The other two short stories are western stories written by Louis L’Amour.

কতকাল কেটে গেছে, কিন্তু রকিব হাসানের অদ্বিতীয় অনুবাদে থ্রি ব্লাইন্ড মাইস পড়ার আনন্দ ভোলার মত না। :)
