I had some kind of Yale football history when I was a kid. It probably was my father's. Not this book I suppose. "My" book would have gone only up to the late 50's or possibly 1960. Amos Alonzo Stagg, Pudge Heffelfinger, Albie Booth, Larry Kelly, Jordan Olivar... I actually played on the Freshman football team in 1964. Not a good idea as there was no chance I'd ever play varsity football. Pleasing my father and not having a clue. The very next Yale class after mine was the one with Calvin Hill and Brian Dowling(BD from "Doonesbury") who had the 16(?)-game winning streak ended by the infamous 29-29 tie with Harvard in November 1968. My ex-teammates participated in the first half of that win streak(1967). Date read is a guess.
