I bought this book because one of the chapters is about Angus M. Cannon, my husband's great, great grandfather. It is a book of essays about 14 different people. These people were not general authorities, but saints who supported and helped the early Mormon church. I loved reading about all 14 of these people, and learned a lot of what things were like in those early days in the church.
