Various

Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.

I love the book and want it, but I never received my copy from Half Price Books, Inc, Dallas, TX. I ordered it from them via AbeBooks, and it was listed as "in stock", but HPB sent Triple Combination Large, instead. This unwanted substitute book weighed over 3 pounds. It was their mistake, but they don't supply return shipping labels, so over to the post office and wait in line. I feel that if a bookseller lists a book as in stock, yet, it really isn't, they need to not take it upon themselves to just send any other book. When I checked AbeBooks, this book that Half Price Books claims it "not available" is still showing "in stock". Why the lies? This was my first order with Half Price Books and will be my last. They are supposed to be refunding my $36.35 and $5.50 return shipping cost. This company's shipping department sucks. I've ordered through AbeBooks for many years and this is the first time I've been sent the wrong book. There is no way to call Half Price Books, so you have to mess around with emails and hope they reply. Terrible customer service all the way around.
