After eyeballing the marvelous frescoes at Coit Tower recently, I yearned to learn more. Masha Zakheim Jewett's little gem about the tower and its history fit the bill perfectly, with a quick overview of the project. If you're interested in the Depression-era art at this surprisingly nice landmark, don't hesitate to pick up this volume. It's well-written and solid.
