A fantastic biography of a remarkable entrepreneur and businessman. The book offers deep insight into how Peter Munk built his companies, raised capital, executed his strategies, and much more.

I particularly appreciated the level of candid detail throughout the book, it’s both enlightening and instructive. Munk emerges as a financial and operational genius, uniquely combining analytical rigor with salesmanship and showmanship. Despite having formally studied electrical engineering, he possessed an extraordinary instinct for finance and capital markets. His creativity in raising both debt and equity was groundbreaking; he pioneered innovative instruments such as gold hedging and gold bonds, reshaping practices within his industries.

The book is filled with wisdom and lessons for anyone interested in entrepreneurship, markets, and business. It stands out as one of the most insightful, engaging, and practically useful business biographies I’ve ever read.
