What do you think?
That Man From Texas
Dallas Hawthorne was a mystery man
The big Texans stories of his life on the rodeo circuit fascinated Cory, but she was disturbed by the fact that he never mentioned a woman's name in connection with that past.
Surely he'd had affairs before coming to Alberta. Was he a Casanova, incapable of deep feeling and commitment? Or had he been hurt so badly that he now avoided relationships altogether?
Either way, it made Cory's attraction to him both dangerous and futile!
