This story takes you back in time to world of Kings and Queens with character’s like Merlin, gypsies, dragons and even some vampires and werewolves!
Alexander is a knight that finds honor in serving his king and being the best knight he can be for the kingdom. However, there has always been a part of him that longs for something he can’t quite understand.
When Alexander decides to take his horse out for a late night ride, he finds himself face to face with a vampire woman. He knows he should kill her but there’s something about her that he finds enchanting and before either of them realizes what they’re doing they are sucked into a world all of their own.
But as the saying goes “all good things must come to an end” Laying in the arms of a man she barely knows Jacklyn finds herself feeling things she didn’t think she could….. That is until she finds out that Alexander is from a werewolf bloodline, making their union forbidden. But she has already bitten him making him a hybrid, which is also forbidden. The punishment for such things is death.
As Alexander comes to terms with this new information he convinces Jacklyn they will find a way to be together. Their love for one another is quickly growing as they stay locked away in their own little world…..
Until the kingdom is attacked and Alexander must choose between his love for Jacklyn and his loyalty to his kingdom.
He swears to return to Jacklyn as soon as he sees the kingdom is okay, but events unfold leaving him unable to keep his promise….
Alexander awakens to find that seven years has passed and a lot has changed. Alexander races back to the home he once shared with Jacklyn to find that life has been anything but kind to her. Will she embrace the man she lost so long ago or has her heart grown cold?
While trying to win Jacklyn back a whole new series of events unravel. Leaving Alexander with yet another dilemma. Will he choose to stay this time or will the events at play force him to leave her side again? What will his decision do to Jacklyn? Where will our forbidden lovers find themselves when it’s all said and done????

Alexander just wants to serve his king and be the best knight he can be but he has always had the urge to just run. When his horse is killed by a demon Alexander finds he is enchanted by the demon also. When she drinks his blood she is so upset because she didn't know he was a werewolf and now he is a hybrid. He and Jacklyn the vampire fall madly in love but when he hears the war starting he runs back to the castle to be poisoned in the end. Seven years have passed when Alexander awakens to find he has a son but the kingdom he loves is ruined by a Sorcerer named Conner. When Alexander leaves Jacklyn and his son to save the kingdom Jacklyn is distraught and and gets caught by Conner. As Alexander sets about putting his kingdom and getting his life back the story takes you back the the world of Kings and Merlin gypsies and werewolfs. It's a great get away story and it was nice to get lost there for a while.

An interesting tale, of knights and sorcery, of vampires and werewolves, dragons and Giants.
When a young knight is attacked by a beautiful vampire, she spares him and they fall in love, but evil conspires to destroy all he holds dear, and displace him from his duty, he becomes a Hybrid, and loses everything along the way. But his determination to correct the wrongs that have befallen his world, is what makes up this story.
Storyline is good and fairly consistent, it jumps a little , but when you get past the modern vernacular, that seems to clash a little with the story, it does unfold to a mighty adventure, and one you are curious to finish to the end.
Received this book from authors on the promise of an honest review.

Although they enjoy their time together, Alex is a knight and has a duty to his king. He returns to the castle and finds that the king and the other knights have been killed.
Alex wakes and finds Jacklyn and learns he has been gone for eight years. In the meantime an evil sorcerer has taken over the land. Alex starts a quest to change everything but returns when the sorcerer attacks Jacklyn. After losing everything, Alex decides to complete his quest. But he is going to tested for something that he doesn’t feel he is fit for. It’s time to see how far Alex will go for love.
This is a fresh take on paranormal knights and quests. I liked the story and how Alex was willing to fight for those he cared for. Conner is pure evil and I enjoyed how he was not going to be easily killed. This is a really good story and one that I recommend for those that like paranormal twist on knights, kings and quests.

I really liked this book a lot! I liked the time setting the story took place in, it's a time before i would of thought of werewolves and vampires. There's always been stories of sorcerer and witches, but we never really get vampire and werewolves from the 1200s. The settings were so great, and the details of the characters and their surrounds was really well done. Alexander exceeded all of my expectations, and I loved everything about Jaclyn. The added bonus of Merlin, a character that is common in a tale of this century, is a really nice added bonus! I'm excited to read more from Mikel and Sherry!

I volunteered to read an ARC of The legend of the Fallen Kingdom.
A cool midevil love story with a vampire twist. They are able to conquer and win there quest. It was a well written story. I just could not get into it. At this time. I am going to revisit this story another time.

Such a cute story. It is actually three books in one. This book would be perfect for kids 9 - 13! Very interesting characters, and it has a great message.
We are first introduced to a knight by the name of Alexander. Alexander is part Werewolf. He gets bit by a Vampire. His whole world changes, as does his body. He becomes a hybrid, and falls in love with the Vampire.
He has a child with the vampire, but an evil sorcerer wants to rule the kingdom. His son dies. He goes off on an adventure to save his son, and to save his kingdom.
As I stated, it is a really cute story. It is a very quick read. There were a few grammar and spelling errors, but nothing too bad.
The wording and language will easily understood by children.

Mr. Wilson & Ms. Gist have spun a mythical, magical tale of a knight, a forgotten kingdom, evil sorcerer, werewolves, vampires, war, enchantments, torn loyalties, & love. Everything a good read needs wrapped up in one great novel. Loved it!

This was a great sit down and read it from beginning to end. A very youthful take on werewolves, vampires, hybrids and love. Can not forget the witches and kingdoms in peril. GREAT READ....
