Every story is a collection of words put together in the right order with a hand full of punctuations here and there. When it’s a love story there can only be two people falling in love, either happily end the book or make it a tragedy. But then how can each story be different from the other? It’s the characters, setting, plot and the order of happenings that make one story different from the other. That makes every one of you develop a plot into a story that’s entirely different from the other.
For example if we are talking about a love story with a man and a woman falling in love it sounds like only two variations are possible using this prompt- happy ending and tragic ending. Let’s say 100 people in a room are use the same prompt to develop their story. Choosing one of the two variations you are already different from 50 writers in the room.
What if you make the woman a doctor and the man an engineer? At least 50% of others, who use your prompt won’t think of the same combination. So 75 people are writing something else.
Now, let’s say your story is happening in India. 20% of the remaining will not be writing about India or any country you choose. So 20 of you are writing almost the same story as of now.
You now add a few more characters, incidents and dialogues. You also add a suspense to the story. Do you think anyone else will be writing the same? Not at all. No two people can write the same prompt the same way.
This book will provide you with a list of creative plots, each of which can be twisted and turned into several stories. This book will serve as a story guide.

This book gives a lot of different plot ideas and examples on how you can develop the story. It's like having your own friend to brainstorm ideas with until you find an idea that you like enough to start writing. The only reason why I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was no explanation whatsoever on HOW to write the plot. It would have been very appropriate if not necessary to include this information in the conclusion section. Doing so would have given this book a more polished and completed feel.

This is a very handy book if you need assistance in developing plots of your stories. It offers dozens of scenarios in relation to plot and plot development. This is especially good for writers who may have writer's block or you may have not previously worked with an editor. This is a good do it yourself plot development workshop.
