I do like this author and have read several of her series to date. The location is the same and nothing major has happened to change it which is fine the main problem for me is that the characters have not changed very much. I like the characters but they have not made any major leaps in personality. When we first meet Lily she is a hothead and prone to want to fight at the drop of a hat. Here we are four books in and she is exactly the same in every way, ready to throw down with Rylie or anyone else just because. I am torn about Rylie, she seems very much the same at one moment and to have grown somewhat the next, but not enough to make a difference. It just seems like a different situation but with someone who has not bothered to advance.

Rylie Cruz, werewolf and matchmaker has a romance emergency. A witch needs Rylie to find her a date immediately. That is when things start to get complicated. When the witch's date disappears without a trace and she realizes that she is being followed by another witch, one with glowing eyes Rylie starts to get worried. Things continue to get stranger and stranger as she tries to keep it from her boyfriend and solve the mystery herself.

Other than helpful tips laid out as chapter headings there was really nothing about dating a witch. It was once again about how to save Rylie from her current peril. Cute and fun for the most part but kind of routine. Still, you at least get a nice story with minimum fuss.

The return of the curse or just wishful thinking

A terrific read. Plenty of witches with a lot after magic. Add a dash of werewolves and a hint of vampire and you have a great read. Who is following her? Why are the glowing eyes important? What does it have to do with the curse? A action packed fast paced read.

Great read

This is the fourth book in the Rylie Cruz series, and it didn't disappoint. Rylie runs a dating service, and she's a werewolf, who's dating a vampire. She's good at getting in trouble, there's a witch with glowing green eyes following her and casting spells. She's a powerful witch that is feared by everyone. She having a hard time getting help from other witches to help her get rid of the witch. Quite entertaining and keeps you going though the end. Can't wait to read the next adventure with Rylie.

This story was very interesting and different. I would have liked to have more of the romance between a werewolf and a vampire. Recommended never the less.

Not too dark

This is the second book that I have read in this series. I have not read them in order. I love the paranormal. Pressey has light paranormal enough to make for easy reading.

Some of the characters seemed kind of ... extra. Like if I had removed certain people from the book then it would not have changed anything either way. I wonder if they were little subplots that just didn't go anywhere.

Rylie Cruz is back again and takes us on a wild ride through New Orleans in pursuit of a witch with glowing green eyes. I missed Rylie and her adventures, they are fast paced and full of unexpected things.
