The best part about this autobiography is how inspiring Matthew is. If you follow him on social media, especially Twitter, this won’t be a surprise. Here, Matthew expands on his tweets and gives advice ranging from protecting animals to making the world a better place. Using his platform in this way is something that has always made Matthew stand out, along with his comedy, from other influencers, and I’m glad he carried that into his book.
Okay please nobody judge me for reading this. I was searching for the Matthew Perry book but this popped up first. This book was the worst book I have ever read (well not including November 9 by Colleen Hoover) - this book took 20 minutes for me to read so in that aspect, I highly recommend.
Book :More Than Me Author : Matthew Espinosa Book review #8 2nd period The book More than me by Matthew Espinosa is probably one of my favorite books by far. The book has such a positive tone. Matthew Inspires his fans to follow your dream. He shows so much fun on this book just like he is online. Throughout the whole book he shares his quotes and also quotes that inspire him. For example ,"Let people be". He has chapters in his book dedicated to quotes or things that he says a lot.
The plot devices changes a lot because he is explaining his life. So its all like a flashback to what has happened in his life so far. He shows his years before fame and shows his flashbacks with many pictures. "Yep, I'm the baby of the family, and they never let me forget it." All and all I really enjoyed reading this book not only because I love me some Mattchu but because it was even better than I expected I am extemley proud of him and I love this book.
This is the place you want to be if you love Matthew! I have been following him since Magcon days and this gave me such a look into his life that wasn't always in front of the camera. Also, it gave new light to the things I already knew he loved (aka his dog) and just put his life under a microscope where you get to see everything from his point of view! In all, it was so good and I highly recommend!
it's crazy how he is just 19 and talks about changing the world. It's amazing how from 6 sec vine videos he became a film star, and the way he sees the world is insane.
"I want to be a motivator, a communicator, an influencer; someone who projects positivity to my peers and the world." Matthew Espinosa
Can you imagine having 5.5 million followers on Instagram at the age of 19? Matthew Espinosa, the author of More Than Me, fulfilled that accomplishment on many social media apps like Twitter, Vine, YouTube, Instagram, etc. Matthew explains the unknown about his life in this book, he tells the truth about what he believes in and how he thinks humans could better impact the world. Matthew constantly brings up the fact of how he isn't on social media for the money and that he's doing it because he enjoys it and loves the relationships it builds with new people and his fans. The book includes many funny and relatable stories. I think Matthew Espinosa’s book fits well in this genre because the topic of the book doesn't necessarily change. The author kept the book on track of him for example, he would mention someone else but he'd always say something about how they've helped him get to where he is now in life so the spotlight was always on him. For example, in “Astronaut Breaks US Space Record” it only talks about the astronaut and no one else. I think this book is a good example of an autobiography, because based on my research, Matthew Espinosa, always talks about his life and how he has lived it, he never really gets off track with his stories and events, he keeps the reader interested by answering questions fans have asked him after a story. I like to think of the questions and answers as a commercial in between the tv show. I enjoyed this book because it tells the story of his life and interesting facts about him and the book never got boring because there was always something for him to say. Matthew always kept the reader guessing on what story he was going to tell next. I think people who like reading about people who wants to make an impact on the world and their crazy adventures would like to read this book. I would recommend this book to teens around the world ,because even though it's about a social media guy he still sending a message to change the world and make it a better place. So if you’re looking to learn about social media kids rising to fame then pick up More Than Me by Matthew Espinosa and start reading today.
