A career in logistics offered me the opportunity to travel to many beautiful locations in America, and I revisit them in my romantic novels.

I write alpha males and kick-ass women who weave their way through life and its pitfalls.

I live in Texas, love sunshine, children’s laughter, sugar (human and granulated), and researching for my heroes and heroines.

TV news anchor Carol Penny returns to her family's ranch in Eden Rock, Texas after losing her job. Though they've found a buyer, she and her sister have second thoughts after finding out some unsettling information about the buyer. Carol's ex-boyfriend, Clay Hudson has also recently moved back home and they find that their feelings for each haven't changed.

We get to revisit the Lost and Found, Inc. team when Clay contacts Nate Wolfe, his former Navy buddy, for help because of his well-founded suspicions about the ranch buyer. I enjoyed the suspense element that is the trademark of this series and the heightened tension that builds steadily throughout the story. The rekindled romance between Carol and Clay was sweet but steamy.

It was nice getting updates about the team members and their new families and relationships. This short story covered a lot of ground was just enough to whet my appetite as I wait for the next book in the series, nicely wrapped in a lovely holiday bow.

(I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review)

It is always nice to get caught up with the "group" at Lost & Found. It is just days until Christmas and Kay is preparing for the Lost & Found "family" for Christmas. A few of the members will not be there, but Kay has a surprise up her sleeve to have them there in some form or another. And of course the 'baby', Kevin Wolfe is front and center and "CUTTING" his baby teeth. LOL

An old riend of Nate's, Clay Hudson, called and asked for some help. Nate and Clay were in the Navy together and in fact, Clay saved Nate's life. and Nate waas glad to assist. Clay's girlfriend from High School has come home in order to sell the ranch, they discover that a "drug lord" was buying it in order to smuggle drugs in from Mexico and then distribute them from the ranch.

Things got really serious fast when the drug lord wasn't going to take no for an answer. That is when Nate, Kay, Kevin and some of his 'men" go to Eden Rock, TX to help his friend.

Dont' 'mis this Novella and get in the spirit of Christmas early.

This book should have received 4 or higher stars, however, I found many errors while reading and as always, it can affect your experience.

Don't miss this novella and get in the Christmas spirit early.

Catchup with the Lost and Found Crew! Nate and Kay and the baby are hoping for a company reunion at Christmas. But when a call comes in from an old friend needing help, they pack up the RV, grab some guys and head into the fray!!!

Clay has never really gotten over his lost love. When she returns to town to sell on her family ranch, they reconnect and the chemistry that never really died resurfaces at a fast pace.

Paige AKA Carol has committed career suicide and didn't verify facts. She will never be that gullible again. She was never committed to the family ranch as she always thought her sister and her husband would be there to take care of it. But after his death Sue Ellen is off to a teaching post. But when they find out the corporation they are selling to has pulled some sneaky manoeuvres, they decide to halt the sale and suddenly they are beset by "accidents".

Clay and Penny are young love who never really broke up, just drifted apart. They are both mature adults now and know what they want. The spark between them is bright! I loved meeting up with the L&F gang and I'm now totally in the holiday spirit!!

Lost and Found Christmas

I'm a little disappointed all the Lost and Found couples don't make an appearance you do get to catch up with several of the recurring charachters. Carol is home for holidays to help sell the family ranch when she learns the new buyer is not as portrayed. Clay the town vet and Carol's high school flame, reaches out to Nate his former SEAL teammate. Lost and Found rolls into town to save the day. A short second chance novella which also introduces new members of the team.

I love this series and seeing this novella come available I couldn't wait to read it. It was full of all things that are great about The Wolfe's pack. Also we get to meet some new characters who I'm hoping we'll see in future stories. Clay and Carol are the perfect match, reuniting after many years. Add in some evil cartel machinations and you have a great story. Can't wait for the next book to come. Highly recommend this book and series

This book is the fifth book but nr 4,5 in the hell series. I don’t know if it is me but I I think this book has not as much suspense as the others. It is a second time around love . The reading is easy and it is a great story.

Clay & Carol

I really enjoyed this little addition to the Lost and Found Inc Series. It’s always nice to have a Christmas story thrown into a series especially when there is a new romance in it.

A HELLUVA HOLIDAY by Jerrie Alexander is a short holiday read, featuring the members of Lost and Found Inc. In this installment, the members come together during the Christmas season to assist Clay Hudson, a lifelong friend of Nate Wolfe. Clay sought Nate's help because the woman he loved and her sister had unwittingly engaged in a business deal with the notorious drug lord Carlos Vega.

For a short read, character development was good. I was able to establish a connection with Clay and Carol. It was fun watching their interaction. I was glad to see them coming to terms with their feelings and accepting that they truly belong together.

This installment packed a punch for such a short story. It was no less than what I had come to expect from the author. There was action, mystery, and romance. It was a page turner that kept me on the edge of my seat, that was until I got blindsided by the manner in which the story was wrapped up.

The ending was disappointing, to say the least. After such a buildup I was expecting a lot more. Instead, I was left hanging. There were issues surrounding the investigation that had not been resolved, which left me with more questions than answers.

VERDICT

The story had the potential to be a five-star read, but due to the issues mentioned it fell short. Overall, it was not a bad read, the plot just needed some tightening up. It leaves one to assume that the author was in a rush to meet a deadline and not much attention was given to the ending.

If you are looking fun and short read and don't mind the issues mentioned, then you will enjoy A HELLUVA HOLIDAY.

Carol is returning home after being fired and to sign the family ranch over to a buyer. What she doesn’t expect to see is Clay. Clay is the vet in town and Carol’s former love. Just as Carol and Clay begin to have a warm reunion, danger comes along with threats and violence against their horses. Clay calls in Nate and his boys to help keep Carol and her sister safe along with figuring out who is trying to hurt them. Can Nate and Lost and Found Inc keep everyone safe? Will Clay and Carol take the leap and find their love they once lost?

I have forgotten how much I’ve missed those sexy Lost and Found men. Clay fits in with them. Though he isn’t one of the investigators he is one hot vet. Carol is also a very feisty woman that fits well with Clay. The romance and mystery were done so well for this novella. You will forget that this is actually a Christmas novella. Clearly danger and the Lost and Found Inc men don’t stop just for a holiday. In fact, they bring their wife and child with them. If you are like me and have been missing these very sexy men you will want to pick this up. I hope we get to see more of these hot guys. Hint…Hint…Dalton and Tank need their HEA’s.

Jerrie Alexander’s Lost and Found series gets the holiday spirit in A Helluva Holiday as founder Nate Wolfe comes to the rescue of a Navy buddy.

It’s a short tale, novella length, but there’s a lot of story. In fact, there’s enough to fill a full-length book, but Jerrie Alexander makes it work. Having never read any of the other Lost and Found books, I feared I was at a disadvantage but the story stands on its own with explanations for those elements that a first-time reader of the series needs. I did begin to wish the book was longer so I could get the backstory of Clay and Carol’s romance and see the mystery out to what was bound to be an exciting conclusion but I enjoyed the story nonetheless.

A Helluva Holiday is a fun, quick read and I recommend it for one of these cold winter nights. There’s holiday cheer, a mystery and romance all wrapped up in one little package.

A helluva reunion with the men and women from the Lost and Found Inc. A fast read that brought back all my favorite characters and gave me an update on their lives while introducing new characters. Could there possibly be a new romance in the works for our favorite FBI agent? Love the way Ms. Alexander took us back to the ranch where she's obviously comfortable. A great holiday treat for fans this holiday season!

The Lost and Found guys (most of them) are back together to help Nate's Navy buddy right before Christmas.

This was short but still had all the ingredients – a romance, suspense, great characters – new and old.

I'm hoping we get more book in this series as I would love to get Dalton, Tank and Reed's stories.
